Any wagers on whether I'll get a response to my Question to Seller?
I always trust brand new sellers with high-end coins. I figure they haven't had a chance to learn all the scammer tricks.:D

    I just sent him this...

    I'm curious...

Does the 1896 Morgan Dollar you have listed have an "O" Mintmark for the New Orleans Mint ???

If not then I have a few 1896P Morgans in PCGS MS64 holders I would love to sell you at $60.00 each !!!

My thoughts exactly benz. If it's an O, then it warrants some serious money. Otherwise, its a 60 dollar coin, at best.

$45,000 dollars for a coin with no picture, sold by someone with absolutely no feedback? Wow, sign me up for that...

I don't think it's a scam though. In order to be a "scam" there has to be a reasonable chance someone will fall for it. I doubt there's much risk of someone who can afford to spend $45,000 on a coin buying something sight unseen from someone with no established reputation. I'd chalk this up to a moron who actually believes the coin is worth this much. What I don't get though is why someone who can afford these kind of listing fees can't be bothered to post a picture of the coin at least.

Maybe it is an 1896-O. You think he would state that though, especially if he believes the coin is worth this much.
