On occasion I bump into a group of coins that captures my attention. This coin is an addition to one of those areas. This area of interest is China-Japanese Puppet States. Basically they were coins issued for the Japanese occupation of China in and around Manchuria (Manchoukuo or Manchukuo) from 1933 to 1945. I've got most of the collection, only missing (no surprise) the keys and semi-keys. This is one of the semi-keys. 1939 China-Manchoukuo 5 Li - PCGS XF-45
