I got this new coin in today, for the type set ;)
Guess the grade and/or designation! (If it helps it is in an old rattler holder by PCGS)
    And as always...
    Opinions are welcome!

I think it looks wonderful!! ;) Best of all, I like the old PCGS rattler slabs because you can actually see the full rim of the coin, not hidden with the clear gasket like in the newer slabs.

Nice photo too by the way. :thumb:

No guess from me, but it's a keeper. :D

I would say about MS65 FB

In the reverse picture it looks like the left side is lacking luster. Is this true in hand.

No not lacking, might just be the pics.
Good luster in most areas of the coin, I'd say about luster is right for the grade... :p

My guess is a 65 FB. Surfaces are very gemmy, but with a cpl rim distractions, I think a 66 would be pretty optimistic.

    65 FB is my guess.

Not real confident though (could see a 66 or 64 too), as I have a tough time judging luster from the pics.

From the 1965 red book it would be UNC, from the new book (coinworlds "making the grade") I have been using, I would say it is a 64B

I will agree with all the 65FB. Nice coin.

Ms 63/64 FSB ( possible Double Die Obverse ). Also looks as though there was a rim clamp or "jewelry" bezel fastened at one Point.

Don't know what's going on tonight, I type one thing, and it post's incorrectly. Lord. Capital letters, turn into lower case, I try to correct it and it goes back to lower case, I give up.:desk:

    Hi T.

Nice rattler coin! From the photos, I see what might be indications that at one time, the coin may have been in a "bezel". Coin in hand, what is your observation? and any signs of doubling on the obverse?

I will look under it through my loop, I can see what you are saying it appears there might be doubling, I will though, but I don't think there is any, might just be the pics, and I don't believe this coin was at one time bezeled, but I will look at that as well.
