New 9-11 proposed designs

I think they really are missing the mark on this one. I don't really care for any of them, but I would pick:

5 Obverse
14 Reverse

14 reverse looks like a rising Phoenix to me. I like that thought.

Thanks for posting that info debordj. I like a lot of the designs, but I think the first obverse and reverse pair they show is my favorite. It brings back a lot of memories to me. It seems like it just happened yesterday.

I'm with debordj, I don't care for any of the designs. If I had to choose, my choice would be

10 obv
12 rev

Although I don't think 10 obv will transfer well to a coin.

I'm a bit surprised as well but there were alot of families affected and some even lost family members. Could it be the ppl closest to the fund picked the design? I won't say I'm pleased but I will buy one no matter what it looks like because it is what it is.

 

I would have liked lady liberty perhaps shedding a tear while holding arrows....... or something like that.
