NEW 2009 LP3 Lincoln error-

    Just going thru my first US Mint roll and already have about 6 unique specimens. This one has a strange R in Liberty on the front and something blocking the window on the back. Can you tell me what caused these things? Is it considered an error? The R does not look like post mint damage although it may in the pics. The total opening from the upper left of the R all the way down into the rounded part appears to be one wide open space. Does not look to be scratched as if by the rolling machine as others do. Looks pretty good under a 10X loupe, just can't get a better pic

    Could be a struck through on the 'R' and a die chip/break on the reverse.

    Rock maybe right. I have not seen any new LP-3 errors listed yet
