Received an email today that the eBay Bucks program has a 10% bonus on most things and a 20% bonus on fashion items. Looks like a 2-day window on this offer. Remember that you have to activate this bonus in order to get it.
Ebay bucks are typically earned at 2% of the purchase price. Does this promotion mean that 2% increases by 10-20% to 2.2-2.4%, or are you actually getting 10-20% back? If it's the latter, I'd be all over it trying to find something listed in Fashion>Jewelry & Fine Watches>Fine Jewelry>Fine Necklaces & Pendants>Precious Metal without Stones. A lot of times you can find reasonably priced gold bullion coins mounted in bezels, making them "jewelry" instead of "bullion". I'm actually tempted to assemble some of them, and list them in that category, and then list them in the Auction Listings category here. From what I understand, the seller gets the typical sale price minus fees, and ebay absorbs the discount. It could be a win/win combination for CT members.
It literally means 10-20% back. Only if you get the offer though. I have gotten nice MS graded old gold under melt with these kind of offers before.
