Never Shared... Until Now - #6

Nothing too special, another bargain coin, an As of Claudius. I got it because, one, well it was cheap, and two, I needed an upgrade to my Libertas reverse of him, and I especially wanted one that had most (or all) of the letters in "LIBERTAS" on the reverse. I think it was $20 shipped.

The A and S at the end of LIBERTAS are better seen angling the reverse towards the light.

Most coins of Claudius are interesting and most hard to come by. I don't think I've seen this reverse before now.

 

As Bing says, anything of Claudius is interesting. If you don't think it's all that special, I'd be glad to take it off your hands.

Thanks coin friends! Interesting, it seems to me this reverse might be more scarce than I had thought. I know this type isn't everywhere like Fel Temp coins but I know I've seen Claudius Libertas Avgvsta coins on occasion, whether for sale or not for sale.
