Netherlands 2 1/2 guilder 1840

Hi Guys,

I haven't got a value of world coins book but have in my possession a Netherlands 2 1/2 guilder 1840. I have looked on ebay for idea of value but none appear to have been sold recently. Has anybody an idea of any prices for this coin? It seems quite rare??

the KM (4th edition) list values for the 1840 2-1/2 Gulden are:
VF=$250
XF=$500
UNC=$1000
BU=$1,250
