Hey Ya’ll Will someone help me with a grade range on these Morgan dollars? Thanks for the help PLOT TWIST: The photos are horrid muahahaha
Here, maybe this will help. Scroll to the left to see the circulated grades. While I'm too lazy to offer grades right now, I will say that the 1893-CC has the nice, original, grey-toned look I prefer in a Morgan dollar. The 1890-CC, though higher grade, appears to have been harshly cleaned and/or polished, which will negatively affect its value somewhat. That's if these are genuine. They don't immediately appear to be the typical Chinese counterfeits to my eye- I think they're OK- but you do want to be cautious with Carson City coins since they're a favorite of fakers.
*sigh* OK, just off the cuff, without consulting the PCGS Photograde link I sent you, here are my quickie impressions: 1890-CC: AU50 details, harshly cleaned 1893-CC: F15, nice original toning
Lol I was all ready to take you up on that link but you gave me the suggested grades anyway! My kinda guy! Thanks!
