    I have been looking to find a value on this coin, but cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know the value of where i can find the value el c 1.JPG el c 2.JPG

    You might try heritage or ebay past auctions. I see an ebay seller has NGC 1774 2R's asking $90. Hope this helps

    I dont think the 2R's sale for the same price. Thanks though. Also i picked this up for $66 and didn't know if it was a good buy.

    Nice coin i would say for what you paid for it you didn't make out to bad at all !! i think 66 is pretty fair for an ngc slabbed 8R from that wreck !!

    I brought it to some local coin shows, and was told too, that it should of been graded, it mite of came from the bottom of the oceans, but must of been protected down there

    The value of sea salvaged (salt water corroded) coins is generally quite low for common coins such as this. The liquidity, no pun intended, is also quite limited.

    The price actually obtained for these has seemed to be falling off a bit as of late, but $66 for an NGC certified one certainly isn't out of line, especially since 1774 is a less common date. Some are a lot rougher than yours, too, believe it or not.
