Need some help identifying this coin

    What I have here is a Deutsches Reich 1919 Pfennig. It weighs approximately 3.45 grams and measures approximately 20 mm. It is non-magnetic and seems to be copper. I know that it is a pop out coin, but I just cannot seem to identify the coin itself. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

    It is a technique called Repousse. The coin was altered to make the image pop out.
    Oh I just read your post. You already knew that.. :sorry:

    I also can't find the coin. I tried Numista

    Fantasy Germany. Looks like all devices were overstruck on a German 2 pfennig. 1919 is nonexistent date for these. Note that type font also differs. I think that I can see the "ghost" of the original date south of the "9".

    As far as dating repouse coins. What era would you say it is?
