Im going through some of my uncles stuff today, and I found this in with some screws.... I dont know the first thing about Asian coins. Can someone tell me about this. Normaly I would try to look it up before I come here, but I cant make heads or tails what its where its from, and whats its value. Thank you very much! RB13
It is one of the "Swiss shooting thalers" Which were commerative coins minted for the national shooting festivals they held every 2-3 years. This one is 1874 for the St Gallen festival
Wow! Its that old? That by far, is the oldest coin I own now! (Previously a 1868 shield Nickel) WOW!!! Value dosent matter to me that much. It was in a can of screws and washers...
