Here is the foreign paper I have in my collection that I would like to get rid of. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Should I just toss it on ebay and see what happens or...........?? I also have a pile of foreign coins I will post pics of in the "world and ancient" section
can you show us a scan or photo of just the Philppines two peso's ? The fastest way to get rid of it would be to sell it as a lot on ebay. I actaully have a very big world paper and coin collection im thinking about that to. I at least 3 times that muuch paper and 11+ pounds in weight in a bag I have gotten over the years when i have bought ot other people collection. Some of the stuff is actaully worth cold hard cash but it not my thing. Nor do really want to learn much abot them. It would take my focus off my US coins. As im sure your feeling the same, hence your question.
Here is the bill, it's in not so good shape. The tear in the middle goes almost halfway through. You nailed it that this stuff is not my thing, I don't know much about any of it and don't care to start now.
I am in the same situation as you Shawn. I have a lot of "dark-side" stuff that I couldn't care less about. I'll be interested in how you resolve this. Keep us posted.
I honeslty think that you should keep that philly and the Japen peso's for the historical factor, but the rest, ebay it off to some one else. Or so like the scammers do . unload it with a few things that at least a wroth a few bucks. You must have seen those listeing on ebay. ESTATE sale BLA BLA BLA. wonderful investment BLA BLA. And it really is nothing more then a few things they picked up at the bank a few mint sets and some scrap silver coins that are all between ag and g. Then they toss the world stuff in as a filler. I have seen these so called estate lots turn there $10 to make and list in to $400. I wish ebay would be a little more strict on con artists. But hey its america, and thats partly what it was build on. Bad deals. lol
