    Sterling,I can tell you that the following are;

    1. A bread token from Toronto,Ontario,Canada.

    2. A medal commemorating the union of Newfoundland into Canada.

    3. A 10 Shillings Hut Tax token from New Guinea.

    4. An Australian medal commemorating 50 years of Queen Victoria's accession (Golden Jubilee).

    5. A German 100 Pfennig (1 Mark) token.

    I hope that I was able to have answered your questions.As to their value,I cannot tell you.

    Aidan.

    For #5:
    Wert-Marke.
    These are normally known as waiter's checks. The token may also belong to a restaurant,
    as 15 pfennig was the standard price for beer. The most famous manufacturer of
    Wert-marken was L. Christian Lauer in Nürnberg, but there were several other manufacturers.
    They may be circa 1900-1940, except for 1915-1923 when most copper was used during WWI and
    hyper inflation 1922-23 needed higher values. It may be impossible to trace their origin.
    There was a standard for marking wertmarken with 2 or 3 letters. These tokens were not used only in Germany.
    There are many wert marken listed in catalogs by Menzel and Hasselmann.

    A couple '10' pieces are halfway down my web page here:

    TBirde, thank u so much for the info... :thumb: I initially thought it was some kinda modern games token from Germany, based on the simplicity of design... but it's a pleasant surprise to discover it's pre-WWII. Not a bad catch for a abt quarter's price. :smile
