Maybe a slot machine token? Daiei is a grocery chain, I think.
Here's a different Daiei token with this explanation:

"The Daiei, Inc., based in Kobe, is one of the largest supermarket chains in Japan. In 1957, these tokens were manufactured in mass amounts for a limited time machine appearance in casinos in Japan and later discontinued due to the switch to more modern payout solutions and the machine were taken out after a year so the coins started at nearly nothing with a steep rise in value in recent years"

I couldn't find an exact match on Numista or with Image search for
    ダイエー/Daiei.

The reverse of that coin is the exact same as the front, here is a different coin I found with it, both sides pictured. 6D3DBA2D-CD9E-4061-8C32-9B30BEB88E96.jpeg 7F274A5B-3659-4E77-BC93-D2E9BBF8118D.jpeg
