i grabbed them because the description they were from the 60s national bank of detroit money museum. and im from detroit.

im trying to find out the history date and metal content

i believe they are aluminum but the raised part of the trees feel like plastic they make a aluminum sound are very light and kinda feel like some of my aluminum french francs

They may not be that old. NBD merged with the First National Bank of Chicago in 1995, and there is a Money Museum in Chicago with a branch in Detroit.

    well here is the discption

You are bidding on 2 coins. These coins are made from aluminum or something super light, not plastic. Both coins are the same. Front and back pictured. These are from the '60s. My Grandfather was head of security in the early '60s and they handed these out to patrons.

i cant even find a picture on google images

i knew about the money museum in chicago thats all im finding is chicago related stuff

Do you believe everything you read? If so, I have some tin cans full of unsearched Lincoln cents and Buffalo nickels that my grandmother accumulated from the 30's from money she earned bootlegging whiskey during the Great Depression.
