While recharging my photo battery, I couldn't stop myself to scan this original silver Tet which seems to have a 3D design on the obverse. I wasn't even able to determine whether the face, head right, is male or female. As for the reverse, it looks Athena seated to me. Hope it's a great coin. It weighs 16.14 g.

Well, in front of Athena with Nike it seems to read Lysimachos, so that's a start.

The Greek coins struck in Lysimacheia of Thrace are very few. Wildwinds exhibit only 8 models with just one of them being silver. It's a Triobol. I don't see my coin there.
Usually I contact " Dane " in such cases. Do I see earrings attached on the obverse suggesting it's a queen or a goddess ?

There is no need to contact Dane. It is not a triobol. It is a tetradrachm of Lysimachos. Tetradrachms of Lysimachos with Athena seated reverse are extremely abundant. You'll find at least a couple of dozen up for auction in the next few weeks; you will find thousands in archives such as CNG's and acsearch; there are dozens currently for sale on Vcoins. Many CoinTalk members have shown them.

Your coin is very light in weight for such a tetradrachm but hopefully that reflects its marked wear rather than a forgery.

@TIF , I didn't say my coin is a triobol. I rather typed that there is only one single silver coin struck in Lysimachos and listed by Wildwinds. Then I made clear that single coin on Wildwinds is a triobol, whereas mine is a Tet. That's all.

Oh, I understand now. You were looking at the Wildwinds listing for the city of Lysimachia, not the extensive page of coins for Lysimachos, the person.

    Try this page:

The camera is now ready for shooting Lysimachos and a few other Greek Tets. At the moment, I'm going to bed. Thank you very much.
