Anyone ever seen one of these? It is 18 mm in dia and seems to be made from lead (or tin?). It is very thin and bends easily. I cannot tell if that is arabic script or not. The reverse is plain.

It's shaped like a Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Annamese cash coin, except for the irregularity of the center square hole. It's probably corrosion obscuring the markings that make it impossible to tell what script was used for the legend, or even if there is one.

Chances are its a token of some kind, perhaps from a religious order. Such non-coin tokens have been produced in Asia for more than a millennium, alongside similar coins.
