need help

I have a coin that has been with me for many years, and I don't know if it is authentic or not. It is a greek tetradrachm, Athena, with the famous owl on the reverse and the AOE. Im not sure how to post pics here yet, but I could email a real good picture to anybody who specializes in these.

Hello Jack, keep the size of the picture below 100 KB (use a software like photoshop to resize..) and upload the picture through ‘manage attachments’ option.. Let everybody enjoy your wonderful coin..:thumb:

I have checked out image shack, thanks a bunch for the info. I will use them or somethinf like it real soon. Im puter stoopid, lol. I was just able to take a pic and shrink it to avatar size.

I believe I recall seeing similar reproductions on eBay.
I'd still like to know what the OP sees on the edge.

Mine shows none of the grain / texture in the fields like the obvious repro. Repro looks mint state, mine is not. I will get an edge pic up tonight.

Jody526: Is that just a cut/paste pic or do you have the actual coin in hand? It does not look like it is made of silver either. I'll get better pics up tonight, I really appriciate the help folks.
