I have been collecting the 50 state quarter set now for quite awhile. I found all 50 minted in Philadelphia and most minted in Denver however the following states for Denver’s mint really seems to be a problem. AL AK AZ NE NJ NM OK SD I am wondering if there is a particular reason why these Denver minted quarters are not surfacing. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I take it old fellow that you pull most of these coins from circulation? Denver coins tend to lag in getting to our neck o' the woods (east coast). You may want to check out a local dealer to see if he/she has these particular coins rather than waiting and trying to pull them out of the change. Then again, there is more fun in the hunt.....
