I was going through a roll of silver quarters I bought a year or so ago & came across this. The "E" in Liberty is damaged on the obverse. I assumed it was post mint. When I look at the reverse I can see a line protruding, starting just below the "A" in "STATES" & extending through & under some letters & over some of the letters in "URBUS" The protrusion continues on to the upper corner of the eagles wing. It appears again just under the "R" in AMERICA & ends at the "I". The pictures shows some of it, but not all. Any ideas????

I know the images aren't very good. Used a scanner.

WELCOME to the forum. The reverse is possibly a gouge and the obverse could be a die break. Closer shots would help.
