need help with penny

    ok it more than likely a die crack, my 2001 penny has a die crack tha makes the D look like a small b, die crack comes off the top of the D in a perfect strait line which makes the D look like a b, easely veiwable by the naked eye, any ideas on the value of this penny :D

    Hi ronster

    More often than not an anomoly within the field that does not involve the rim of the coin will be a die scratch or gouge, or a delamination of the clad layer on the newer coins, most do not add any significant value to the coin.
