My friend has some silver statue of liberty coins that have different pictures on the reverse and the obverse each coin has the L I B E R T Y in gold plate she had 3 coins out of a 7 coin set. These are not US mint coins and I'm not finding anything out about them google searching. Sorry no pictures as I don't have my camera until tomorrow. Thanks to anyone who can help

Google Liberty Dollars or Norfed, see if they look the same.

They sound like something that was one of those "sucker subscription" things, where you get the first token for a low price (plus exorbitant shipping and handing) and then the others for some exorbitant price (plus more exorbitant shipping and handling) and you can cancel at any time, but why would you want to cancel before getting the last one?

I believe they are from one of the sucker sites it was something her dad got her, not sure if they are silver and not sure how to tell. I was going to offer her something for them if they are silver because she is on the broke side but I don't want to be put out if they are not silver. I'm having no luck finding anything out about them

That's why you have to post pictures in order for us to positively identify what you are describing.

ok I am using a usb microscope camera that doesnt take very good distance pictures so I will post some closer up pics but you'll be able to see some of what I mean, first 3 are of the set I was talking about that spells out liberty these I am wondering if they are silver, 3 of the others are that enlightening the world copper round crap with Swarovski Crystal and 2 others are the saint gaudens dollar trial from the American mint, All are a sucker buyer collection for sure I just want to know if the first is silver or not and if you were trying to help a friend without hurting yourself what would you give, sorry for crap photo's I dont usually get larger coins as I look mostly for errors liberty 2.jpg liberty.jpg liberty3.jpg liberty4.jpg liberty5.jpg liberty 2.jpg liberty 2.jpg liberty.jpg liberty3.jpg liberty4.jpg liberty5.jpg
