    Hey Gang!

This recently walked into the door and I'm having trouble finding this same note as a reference. I am running into similar notes and it appears that some of the other "gold notes" for lack of a better term are worth quite a bit (not that that means anything here). I just wondered if anyone could help me out here as this is definitely not my strongest subject!

    Thanks!

    Matt

the person pictured is Wakeno Kiyomaro. I 'think' you have a Japan P-36, printed in or around 1915.

Its JNDA number is 11-35, a "Hidari-Wake" note issued by the Bank of Japan from 1915-1939.

The 2009 catalog lists it at ¥13-140,000 (~$129-1,396), perhaps about ¥25-35,000 (~$249-349) range for the condition pictured.
