Anyone seen this one? Saw the thistle and thought it might be Scottish.

FYI, typing in "1791" in numisma's basic search reveals 438 coins. Typing in "1791 copper" reveals just 141. Typing "1791" into the year for the advanced search reveals 354 coins. Measuring the diameter would've netted you just 21 coins if you typed "1791" into the advanced search for year and "29" for the mm.

I don't mind helping out, but it took me longer to find it than it would've for you to simply measure the coin and search it.

If you just google 1791 halfpenny(images), it's right there ... Edinburgh halfpenny.

Nice, I did it on my phone and couldn't really make out the words. I went with the least restrictive search method just to see what came out.

It's St. Andrew and his cross. The Latin phrase on the obverse - "Nemo me impune lacesit" means no one provokes me with impunity. It was a phrase often used on Scottish coinage into the 17th century.
