Need help with Chinese coin

    I picked this up for a few dollars because I like the reverse, but I have no idea on attribution. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Unfortunately, that link is of no use because this is not a Qing Dynasty coin cast for monetary purposes.

    The coin is a charm of some sort. I suspect it to be of modern make given the patina.

    Yes, these are typically classified as gaming tokens, but in other cases 'horse charms'. Yours differs in a slight style as the horse looks back to the right (which is common for the type) but is not listed in the reference cited. At a few dollars you got a very good deal.
