Hello. I just received this coin from an Ma shops dealer. The coin is attributed by them as RIC III Antoninus Pius 1331. I know it is an as of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar under Antoninus Pius, but their attribution which indeed seems to be the closest gives a coin that has not a draped head and and the SC on reverse is in different position. So basically after I searched in both wildwinds and OCRE I can't find the exact attribution of my coin, just the 1331 one which is different. Can it be just a variation or should I start worrying?
Thank you for your reply. Can it though be a variation of RIC 1331 that has not been listed or published anywhere?
It seems that 1331 subsumes variants of the portrait and/or location of S-C. Here is an example of your variety at CNG: https://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=22732 The actual listing in RIC:
