Came across this 1994 Lincoln and the reverse is either a doubled die or machine doubling. Besides the pics below I have more pics you can view at https://plus.google.com/u/0/110578931944980172660/posts/2obMaZoCD5A

All of the letters on the reverse show doubling. I researched coppercoins.com and I believe of the 19 varieties that this one comes closest to Wexler: WDDR-003. There are a few marks on the obverse that y'all can see in the pics I took when you go to the link provided.

Let me know what y'all think.

Hope all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    Karen

Thanks for the quick reply. I was leaning toward that also...but saw the pics on coppercoins and they seemed to match so I thought I would put them here and see what the experts (and you would definitely be one of those IMO) think.

If you have questions regarding lincoln cent varieties/errors in particular, I would suggest heading over to thelincolncentresource.net forum (I am a mod there). Not saying that cointalk isn't good of course, because cointalk is great. ;)

Dachine doubling, sorry to say. And I would add enviromental damage and artificial toning.
