I have a few coins I want graded/slabbed and am thinking about joining NGC. But, trying to figure out their price list is hopelss. The one thing I need to know most is if you can mix coins from different catagories to meet their 5 coin minimum. For example, the first batch I want to send them is 3 US Silver Eagles, 1 US UHR Gold and 1 Canadian Maple Leaf gold. I can figure the price out, more or less, but these are from 3 different catagories marked "5 coin minimum". Will they do these 5 coins if I send them in one batch?

Can't swear to it, but I don't think so. From what I understand you cannot mix and match.

You can still get them to grade all your coins, you just have to use the appropriate tier. I think that would be Early Bird. They do not have a 5 coin minimum on that.

The SAE's and the US gold could be submitted together on the Early Bird tier provided that all are valued less than $3K. However, there is no miminum number of coins required for this tier. Unfortunately, the Canadian Maple Leaf would have to be submitted on a "World" invoice and would not count toward a 5-coin minimum.
