The Persian lion was used at various times, most recently during the reign of Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi, the guy whose overthrow indirectly led to the US Embassy takeover in the '80s. You probably have a 5 Rials from sometime between 1943 and 1979, but the combination of your out-of-focus partial photos, and the poor quality of the Krause pictures make it very tough to be specific.
