This was my great great grandad's. He was a Civil War veteran. It is a good conduct medal but in my research good conduct medals weren't issued until World War IL. The GAR which be belonged to and had attended several of their reunions and encampment issued a good conduct medal in 1905. Could this be a GAR issued one Obverse Reverse
