Coworker wants to sell me the only 3 coins he has. All 3 are 1976 Silver eagles bicentennial, according to him, still in mint state.
He agreed to $30 per coin if they are in fact 1oz bullion rounds.
however, I have a feeling they might not be...
Google search turned up only 1 result anything close to that coin.
Should I be expecting a half dollar? That's what I figure it will be
But he said its an eagle on back and a lady on front so im thinking a bullion round...
are these scarce due to melting or people just not buying old silver rounds?

If they are indeed silver rounds, they are worth melt only. $30 would be a good buy for an ounce of silver.

Yeah I was happy with the price but have no idea what coin it is!
None of the circulation coins from the time were it.
    He said bicentennial :/

Looks like they are Halfs. Showed him the half liberty and he said its that one. He just saw Dollar and figured it was a one dollar coin because it was so big. So they are 3 uncirculated liberty half dollars . Hopefully good scarce dates.
I told him if they are in good quality I'd buy them and we have agreed to $45 (for all 3) if they are indeed Liberty halfs.
