I am looking for some knowledgeable feedback regarding this 1946s Wheat Penny. I would like to know if this is a damaged or error coin? Particularly asking with regards to the "B" in LIBERTY... THANK YOU..

There is no such thing as a post mint error.. just post mint damage.

    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged.
The Letter B took a hit.

The fact that there are other pockmarks on the surface of the coin should be a dead giveaway that the "B" is damaged. ~ Chris

See all those digs in the coin? One of them hit the B.

Welcome to CT sorry the coin is not what you thought. When paddyman shoots to the top of the post he tells it like it is and more often than not he's right. Better luck ahead...
