I was wondering if anyone might know what these coins are and if they have any value? I found both coins with a metal detector in Germany. The faded coin is french I believe - I could not get a good pic of the reverse, but I can make out what looks like the date 1696 on the Rev. I believe the coin with the number 50 on it is German. They are both made of copper. The "French" coin is about the size of a quarter and the "German" coin is about the size of a nickel, although thinner.

I believe the Frech coin is a Louis XIIII liard struck in copper. It has little if any value in that condition.

I think the other is a token.

Or maybe some company token. Well, "Jaeger" is a fairly common last name in German(y), and since there is no other text, it will be hard to find out where that is from ...

    50 Pfennig.

The German piece is denominated as 50 Pfennig, that is if it is German. If it was Austrian, then it would be denominated as 50 Heller.
