Need help -1987 bicentennial of the constitution silver medal

    I have been searching for information and pictures on this medal for a long time on the web and keep comeing up with nothing . any and all infor mation you can give on this medal will be very appreciated . i find it strange that this medal has a reeded edge., and not smooth 100_5044_opt_opt.jpg 100_5047_opt_opt.jpg 100_5048_opt.jpg

    is it a franklin mint coin???:eek:

    I have no idea James it is huge about 70 mm across and 6mm thick .

    It was probably struck by one of the private mints. You will be lucky to find any information about it unless someone just happens to post one for sale on eBay and they just happen to have all of the original documentation. Even at that, it is unlikely that you will find any mintage numbers because most of the private mints like Franklin don't make that information available.
