A friend asked me to gather any info I could on this coin. It appears to be made of a certain amount of silver. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks !

looks like a greek 20 drachma (drachmae? drachmai?) featuring poseidon:
Between 1926 and 1930, a new coinage was introduced for the new Hellenic Republic, consisting of cupro-nickel coins in denominations of 20 lepta, 50 lepta, 1 drachma, and 2 drachmae; nickel coins of 5 drachmae; and silver coins of 10 and 20 drachmae. These were the last coins issued for the first modern drachma, and none were issued for the second.

KM#73, 11.31g, .500 silver, ASW .1818, 20 Drachmai, depicting the prow of an ancient ship on one side, and Neptune* on the other. Krause shows the ship as obverse and Neptune as reverse.

In the 2008 Edition it's listed at F-$6, VF-$12.50, XF-$28, Unc-$210, BU-$300. Bullion value is only a couple of bucks.

*Krause says "Neptune" even though that is the sea-god's Roman name and Poseiden is his Greek name.
