I am in a situation where I need to liquidate some coins to pay medical and hospital bills. In looking at my diverse collections, I am thinking of how to get the most value from selling my uncirculated Euro set. I have all 19 current countries. 10 of the 19 are same year. 2 are mint sets. They are in a Dansco cover. I would like to know what would be the best venue for selling. I have never listed anything on ebay before, but I am thinking this might be the best route. I have an idea what they are worth, at least to me. Should I list with a reserve amount of what I expect, or a lesser amout and take my chances. Or should I list with a BIN price? I really wish I didn't have to do this but I don't have a lot of choice. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Has anyone been successful with BIdStart ? Thanks for your help.
Cannot help you with advice on how to sell those sets, sorry. But in case you plan to sell them in one lot, don't say "all 19". There are 20 euro countries (17 member states, plus 3 with monetary agreements). Also, if the sets from those latter 3 are original mint sets, it may be better to try and sell those separately ... I will check. I thought I was keeping up. A list of what I have. San Marino and Vatican are Mint Sets. Which one am I missing? Austria Belgium Cyprus Estonia Finland France Germany Greece Ireland Italy Luxembourg Malta Netherlands Portugal San Marino Slovakia Slovenia Spain Vatican
Thanks, mostly unexplained and a lot of guessing, but a ton of bills to pay. BTW, I got the Piastre that you posted. Thanks
