I have an 1874 $1 gold piece that has be soldered to a ring for a chain. Is this still worth anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am looking to sell it to buy more morgans!:thumb:
Value is probably melt. There are 1.53 grams of gold in one with no wear. Ebay would probably be the best way to go and then I would not expect that it would go for much more than 100. It might be worth listing it in the jewelry section.?. JMO
I have a 1922 Liberty Dollar with a ring around it to wear as a necklace? Wonder what the point was for that?
