Neat Old Spoons made from Coins

I picked these up today at a flea market and was just wondering if any one new what year the coins are and from what country. Thanks for any help.

Those spoons are really cool. I can tell you that they are Moroccan but I don't know the date.

Thanks. I buy alot of neat items from this guy and he sold them to me for .50 cents for the four of them so I knew I couldnt go wrong at that price. I also got some other pretty nice medals and exo.

 

My guess is that they were made for the tourist trade , looks like Arabic writing and I'm sure they wouldn't of used modern western numbers for the dates . Still nice stuff .

Very nice talking points LOL specialy when you ask someone if they want to see your Morrocan coin collection

 

I think Moroccan coins are some of the most impressive designs for coins...Often I see what people do to coins like this and think 'what a shame' but these are pretty cool IMO.

 

Very nice. From India I have seen only Victorian smaller (2 anna) coins used in spoons. I will post pictures of my examples when get the chance.
