I picked this up at a local show this past weekend. Not much reference I can find on them but supposedly this is from the Eden mine in Zacatecas Mexico. The translation reads "Good for one load of Ore" It looks like the zilver miners were paid by the load and probably given this token with each load and then later went to cash it out... maybe at the office or something. I thought it was cool and wanted to share.
That is neat Dutchman. I like Mexican silver & gold coins and bullion, so that token strikes a cord with me. Not zacates mint but a nice Alamos.
