Not sure if there is any interest in collecting by serial numbers but I thought these were neat when I got them last week. Ten consecutive ten dollar notes with serials that start with 2008 (IB20089091C-9100C). I realize this is probably just $100 worth of spending money but I thought the serial with year 2008 was cool.
People do collect by serial number, but with new notes like that it is very common to get consecutive notes. They come strapped in sequence...so they aren't worth anything more than face.
