In the Sunday edition of the Dallas Morning News was a very neat article about the different currencies around the world. I hope others got to see it as it was syndicated. Yet, on the next page was what appeared to be some locals handiwork in the travel section about the large stone currency from the island of Yap in the Pacific. I found it neat that the islanders still consider the up to 2 ton 'donuts' still circulating and park them in front of their houses. When ownership changes, they don't move the stone, just keep track of who owns what.
Wow. Two articles about money in the same paper, same day and even in the same section!
