I found this coin today at a friends house. I told him I would take some pics of it and see if any one here new anything about it. There is alot of doubling on the front of the coin. I ordered a VAM book but it has not yet arrived. Any ideas on this one? Thanks again.
The area on the back of her neck is real easy to see. It is what I noticed 1st with out a loop.

I think that's machine(mechanical) doubling. For some reason it's common on Peace dollars. I love it, think it's cool, but not a VAM. It can be very dramatic.

There was a lot of machine doubling in 1922. Are the designer's initials under the neck doubled? How about the hair above TRUST?

No doubling on the hair or initials

Probably machine doubling, not to be confused with machine tripling.
