At the last minute I decided to go to the North Dakota state coin show in Fargo which is about a three hour drive for me. It was very busy when I arrived about 1030 am just about every dealer had someone at their table. Yes a lot of kids there too so I don't think the hobby will die anytime soon. There was a YN table too and the two hours I was there there was always someone there. My purchases:
I paid $50 for the Barber Quarter as it being a key date. Also went through the 5 for a dollar foreign coin box a dealer had. That was popular! While I was digging through it two others joined in. This is what I found: India Pice 1953 Honduras 5 Centavo 1980 Honduras 10 Centavo 1956 Peru 20 Centavo 1946 Peru 10 Sol 1978 El Salvador 5 Centavo 1974 Finland Markka 1950 Finland Markka 1951
Love the foreign stuff. When I had to go into the office pre-pandemic, there was a local store that sold it for melt. The good old days.
