    Hi Everyone,

I wanted to find out if anyone had a copy of the NCS submission form, that you can normally access online, that is a fillable PDF document. I tried accessing it myself online but I cannot access it because I'm an ANA member. Sounds crazy right? But when I emailed NGC/NCS about getting the form they indicated that ANA members are not eligible to use the form unless I became a paid member of the NGC web site. They sent me a scanned copy as a PDF. The copy quality is not very good and it's not fillable so I would need to print it out and then write up my submission.

I was hoping to avoid having to fill in the form by hand. Would so much easier and legible to type it out and print out. As part of my emails I asked why ANA members were not allowed to use the form, what is the different between an ANA member and a non ANA member in terms of submissions, and if they were working on an online form that ANA members could use. Their response basically was that ANA members can't use the form unless they were paid members to the NGC site and that they were sending me forms. So they never responded to questions I asked. If you have a copy that you might have saved on your personal PC can you PM me and I can provide you with my email to send me the form.

    I appreciate any assistance!!!

    Thanks!!

There are numerous disadvantages related to the submission privileges afforded ANA members, and that is why many of us pay the annual fee in order to have access to all of the services made available by NGC.

I'm starting to see that. I guess I don't understand why ANA members have "direct" submission privileges? What's the difference if I was not an ANA member and paid for membership at NGC? Wouldn't I have the same privileges as an ANA member? Just doesn't make sense. Now I have to decide if I want to pay the membership fee just to get a fillable form lol. I guess it will all depend on how many coins I end up submitting for conservation.

    Thanks!!!

No! The paid memberships (3 levels) entitle you to much more than what ANA members receive.

The only advantage afforded ANA members is they don't have to submit through an authorized dealer which would cost them additional money for the dealer's services.

Here is the schedule of benefits and the membership fees that apply. You should note that the Premium Membership ($109) annually entitles you to everything except the 10% discount on submissions. The five free gradings you would receive is a $150 value.

Thanks for the link. Given that I probably won't be submitting a lot of coins for grading I'm thinking of getting the Associate level of membership. I'm mainly interested in using NCS services right now. What do other CT members have in terms of membership.

    Thanks!!

I would be willing to let others here submit to NCS on my account provided they follow all the instructions explicitly, and include payment with the invoice and the coins to NCS. The conserved and/or graded coins will come back to you.
