Surely, someone in America has some information about the medal-coins
that have been issued by Native American Nations.I know of one that was issued by the Shawnee Nation a few years ago.

That, together with the disparity between face value and bullion value, makes these legitimate NCLT, on a par with coins of the Marshall Islands and other places. The remaining question is, since the Shawnee Nation is not "part of" the U.S., but is geographically within U.S. boundaries, are their NCLT "darkside" or "liteside"

I've collected several "tokens" from local Indian casino's, I mean tribes. ;)

We are already seeing numerous NEW issues coming our way and they ARE NOT cheap.(guess they are trying to compete with the U.S. Mint when it comes to income) My guess is the the Indian Nations will all jump on board and flood themselves right out of the market. I know of one coin each of the last two years from the Indian Nation but have already seen two offered thus far this year. I believe the flood gate is about to open?
