I posted this copper piece a couple of years ago here looking for any information. This token weighs about the same or a little more than a quarter and there are no letters, numbers, or symbols on it anywhere. My dad had it for years and gave it to me.

With a lot of new members perhaps some of the newer ones may have an idea. Any information about what it is would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Ben

I don't know where it came from or its previous use, but it would look nice as the centerpiece of a bolo tie. I wonder if it was designed as jewelry.

    Looks like a home-made carving.

First off, I believe that it was "minted" - in the sense that it was pressed between two dies anyway. It looks like the top die was chipped where the feathers meet the rim.

Beyond that, I believe that it was used as a button, broach, bolo tie, etc. When I look at that, I think of a rosette. I may (likely) be wrong, but that is my best guess.
