    No, I paid $18 for it. But if I'm not "mis-remembering" that dime
    was orginally found in a dealers junk box.

    I think you are confusing it with the 1870-S half dime. That was the "story" about how it was discovered. (How come I never find Mint State half dimes in dealer junk boxes? OK, it was an AU when it was found and got better later.)

    Probably. I think we talked about the junk box
    one in CoinWorld. It is annoying that the one that
    just sold is being treated as "odd news" but when
    one of Warhol's micky mouse past boards sells for
    millions it's because he was artistic genius. Yeah right.
