What's a good website or book that deals with National banknotes? I'd like to collect the notes that were released near where I live. Just wanting to find some background on some of them, etc... Any links/suggestions for books would be appreciated!

Well.. one of the Men who has pioneered this aea of collecting is Prof. Don C. Kelly

You can start by looking at his web site.

This website is for serious National Banknote collectors. It requires a yearly subscription, https://www.nbncensus.com/about.html, and combines the data of both Don Kelly and Martin Gengerke into a single fully searchable database.

If you want to see what notes are out there from your geographic area and their relative cost, do a search of the Heritage Auction Archives.

I see he has a book on his site for $75. I'll have to spring on that. Thanks for the name.
