I was glancing at photos of the designs of the new British coin designs. Some of the new designs show part of 1 design and part of a different design. Britain wanted something different and these designs are as unique as I've seen. When placed together, the coins form 1 large design. Gone is the Brittania design altogether from circulating coins. How will the 50 p be named? It shows parts of a harp and lions? Likewise, the 1p shows both a harp and a lion. The 5p is really weird; it features parts of 4 different designs. I can't wait to see what the British public says about these new reverse designs.

Well the 1p will still be a penny and the 50p will still be 50 pence, the same goes for the rest of the values nothing has changed other than the design. It was the Pre decimal coinage that had names for the coins not the decimal.
